Return and Refund Policy
Last updated: October 17, 2026
At DRIA Fine Jewellery (“DRIA,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we want you to feel confident in your purchase. We create jewellery intended to be treasured, and we want your experience with us to be as considered as the pieces you choose.
This Return and Refund Policy explains the conditions under which eligible purchases may be returned, exchanged, or refunded.
1. 30-Day Return Window
Eligible, non-personalised jewellery may be returned within 30 days of delivery, provided the item meets the return conditions outlined below.
To be eligible for a return:
-
The jewellery must be unworn, unused, and in its original condition.
-
The item must be free from scratches, damage, alterations, or signs of wear beyond what is reasonably necessary to inspect it.
-
Original packaging, certificates, grading reports, authenticity documents, and accessories supplied with the item must be included, where applicable.
-
The return must be requested within the 30-day return window.
We reserve the right to inspect returned items before approving a refund or exchange. Any decision will be made consistently with applicable consumer protection laws.
2. Items Not Eligible for Standard Returns
Because certain jewellery pieces are made or altered specifically for an individual customer, the following items may be excluded from our standard change-of-mind return policy:
-
Custom-designed or made-to-order jewellery.
-
Personalised pieces, including engraved jewellery or items bearing custom inscriptions.
-
Jewellery resized, modified, repaired, or altered after delivery.
-
Items showing signs of wear, accidental damage, misuse, or improper care.
-
Items returned without required certificates, documentation, or components supplied with the purchase, where their absence materially affects the item's completeness or value.
Any exclusion will be communicated clearly where applicable. These exclusions do not limit any rights you may have under applicable law if an item is faulty, damaged on arrival, misdescribed, or otherwise fails to meet legally required standards.
3. How to Request a Return
Please contact our customer support team before sending an item back.
To request a return:
-
Contact us using the email address listed on our website and include your order number.
-
Tell us which item you wish to return and the reason for the request.
-
Wait for our instructions and return authorisation before shipping the item.
-
Pack the jewellery securely, including its original packaging and applicable certificates or documentation.
-
Use the return shipping method and address provided by our team.
Please do not send jewellery to an address without first receiving return instructions from us. We may be unable to identify or process unauthorised returns promptly.
4. Return Shipping
Return shipping arrangements and costs will be communicated when your return is authorised.
For a change-of-mind return, the customer may be responsible for return shipping costs unless we state otherwise or applicable law requires us to cover them.
If an item arrives damaged, is defective, or was sent incorrectly, please contact us promptly. We will assess the issue and arrange an appropriate remedy, including return shipping where required by applicable law.
Because jewellery can be valuable, we recommend using a tracked and appropriately insured shipping service and retaining your proof of postage. Please follow our packaging instructions carefully.
5. Inspection and Refund Approval
Once we receive your returned item, our team will inspect it to confirm that it meets the applicable return conditions.
We will notify you when the inspection is complete and inform you whether your return has been approved.
If the return is approved, the refund will generally be issued to the original payment method, unless another method is agreed upon or required by law.
If a return does not meet the applicable conditions, we will contact you to explain the issue and discuss the available options, subject to applicable law.
6. Refund Processing Time
Approved refunds will generally be initiated within 10 business days after the returned item has been received and approved.
After we issue the refund, the time it takes for the funds to appear in your account depends on your bank, card issuer, or payment provider.
If your refund has not appeared after the relevant processing period, please contact your payment provider first. You may also contact us for assistance.
7. Exchanges
If you would prefer a different eligible item instead of a refund, you may contact us to request an exchange.
Exchanges are subject to product availability, inspection of the returned item, and any applicable price difference, taxes, or shipping costs. We will confirm the exchange arrangements with you before proceeding.
Customised, personalised, resized, or modified jewellery may not qualify for a standard change-of-mind exchange unless we agree otherwise or applicable law requires it.
8. Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items
We take care to ensure that your jewellery is prepared and packaged appropriately before dispatch.
If your order arrives damaged, appears defective, or contains an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible. Include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs where available.
We will review the matter and explain the next steps. Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, an appropriate remedy may include repair, replacement, exchange, or refund.
Nothing in this policy excludes or restricts any non-excludable consumer rights or remedies available to you under applicable law.
9. Promotional Offers and Gifts
If your order included a complimentary gift or promotional item, please follow the return instructions provided for that offer.
Where a return affects the conditions under which a promotion was granted, we will explain any applicable adjustment before processing the return, subject to applicable law.
10. Order Cancellations
If you need to cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible.
Cancellation may not be possible once an order has entered production, been personalised, or been dispatched. If cancellation is unavailable, you may still have return or other rights under this policy and applicable law.
Custom or made-to-order items may have different cancellation conditions, which should be disclosed before you place your order.
11. Gifts
If you received DRIA jewellery as a gift and wish to request an exchange or return, please contact us.
Refunds will generally be issued to the original purchaser and original payment method, subject to applicable law. Additional verification may be required to protect the purchaser and prevent unauthorised refunds.
